Pachamama Preserve envisions a universe that sustains all life forms—gases, stars, planets, suns, moons, oceans, human beings, plant life, and animal life. Our mission is to foster humanitarian community wellness, achieving balance with an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, and socially just human presence on Earth. We aim to reconnect humanity to its true essence, Nature.

Our Story
Pachamama Preserve is a community-rooted conservation and outdoor education space located on Johns Island, South Carolina. Founded in response to the rapid loss of accessible green space and increasing development pressures throughout the Lowcountry, the preserve exists to protect land while reconnecting children, families, and communities with the natural world.
We believe gardens are more than places to grow food — they are living classrooms, ecological refuges, and gathering spaces where people can develop meaningful relationships with the land, with one another, and with the future of their communities.
